Click the Following Page. Chisholm Trail Crossing Park is a historic site dedicated to the Chisholm Trail. The site includes a sculpture of the Bell Steer commissioned by Edward Reyes Torres. The sculpture is adorned with the Torres Reyes registered brand. Bell steers helped cattle drivers find their herds in the bad weather, and good lead steers were prized on cattle drives. The “Bell Steer” sculpture also features split-ear and swallow-tail trail brands.
Another great feature of the park is a 0.35-mile trail. There is also an open practice field, a playscape and a water fountain. Additionally, the park includes a 2.54-acre Veterans Park, which features a monument and six columns that contain plaques honoring the U.S. Armed Forces.

The park is located in a quiet neighborhood. It has 11 soccer fields and six basketball courts, as well as a playscape and eight tennis courts.
